The Unsung Hero Recognition Award

Kiwanis Club of Golden Ears is pleased to recognize local community champions who make a difference in Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows. The recognition award is to be awarded to a member of our community who shows exemplary volunteerism within our Ridge Meadows cities. Nominees may be an individual, business or group. 

Anyone from our local Maple Ridge or Pitt Meadows community!  Nominees may be individuals, group or even a business that does volunteer/good works on the side.

Members of the community are invited to nominate someone who they know who they feel is worthy of recognition. Nominators complete a small nomination form and submit via email or online.

Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis.  An award will be given each month, and will be selected from the nominations received that month.

Award winners will be contacted and advised they've received an award.  They will receive a certificate and a small token of appreciation sourced from local businesses in our community. 

We will meet the award winner for a photo and will share the details with our community through social media.
